SUPPORT COVER - SOFTWARE PRODUCTS
Support cover is provided via e-mail during normal working hours for customers with active support packages. No support is available outside of working hours.
We do not provide support for customization related questions e.g. template modifications or feature additions and do not support any problems as a result of modifications you have made to the service/product. We may require you to upgrade to the latest stable version of our products before providing support since bug fixes may solve the problems you are experiencing.
PERSONAL INFORMATION YOU CHOOSE TO PROVIDE
When you visit our Web site you may provide us with two types of information:
SOFTWARE USAGE
Licensee may download, install, setup and use the software on one licensed hostname/IP address. Any person or entity who obtains or uses a copy of the software under or through this agreement agrees to be bound thereby. The Software is licensed only to the Licensee. Licensee may not rent, lease, sub-license, sell, assign, pledge, transfer or otherwise dispose of the Software in any form, on a temporary or permanent basis, without the prior written consent of webbwork/kbmanager admin team.
The software and related user documentation are protected under British, European and International copyright laws. All rights, title, and interest in and to the software, including associated intellectual property rights, are and shall remain with webbwork. This agreement does not convey to the licensee an interest in or to the software, but only a limited right to use the software, revocable in accordance with the terms of this agreement.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Neither party shall be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or data use. Our maximum liability for any damages whether in contract or tort will not exceed the fees which you have paid to us or are payable to us for this order, and if such damages result from your use of the software or technical support, the liability shall be limited to the fees paid or payable for the software or technical support.
If you use this site and relevant services/products, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. webbwork reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders in their sole discretion.
MISCELLANEOUS
Webbwork and kbmanager reserves the right to publish a selected list of users of the Software. Webbwork and kbmanager reserves the right to change the terms of this Agreement at any time. Changes to the Agreement will be announced via email using the Webbwork and kbmanager email notification list. Failure to receive notification of a change does not make those changes invalid. A current copy of this Agreement will be available on the www.kbmanager.co.uk web site.
Skin packs and Language packs are defined as the group of code, text, and graphics that are exported from the software using the provided functions of the software Administration Control Panel. Integrated add-ons for kbmanager are released under this Agreement. Purchasing or downloading integrated add-ons constitute an additional, separate instance of this Agreement.
Technical support will not be provided for third-party modifications to the Software including modifications to code, Skin packs, and Language packs to any license holder. If the Software is modified using a third-party modification instruction or otherwise, technical support may be refused to any license holder.
30 Days 100% Money Back Guarantee option is applicable only if kbmanager (knowledge base script) fails to run on your web server due to some technical reason. This option is not applicable if the customer decides not to use the software later on. Refund orders are processed at the sole discretion of our company. Webbwork Software Technologies shall, in its sole discretion, determine whether all requirements for the refund request have been satisfied and may terminate or modify the 30 days money back guarantee program on a prospective basis at any time. The act of submitting a refund request does not ensure that a refund will be issued.
HOSTED LICENSE
If you buy a hosted license of kbmanager Knowledge Base Script then you agree with the following terms and conditions.
Hosted License does not come with access to source code of script files.
You may request for a logo change on your hosted license.
Hosted License will be setup on our server and the URL to access your hosted knowledgebase would be something like http://companyname.support-suite.co.uk/ where “companyname” can be of your choice provided that it has not be taken by someone else.
You have access to take SQL backup of your knowledgebase data in your hosted license. So, it is your duty to take regular backups of your knowledgebase data. We do not provide any type of responsibility or guarantee of data loss in the case of hard drive crash.
PROPRIETARY LABELS
Authorization to remove or modify output of copyright notices can be obtained from webbwork for a fee. This fee authorizes you to remove the output of copyright notices: it does not give you authorization to remove any copyright notices in the program source files or any other rights.
